I wanted to show you what a realistic timeline looks like for wedding glam. I take 45-60 minutes for guests, and 60-90 minutes on the Bride. In this case our completion time was 11:30 and we started at 7:30 with 3 artists to get this bridal party ready.

Our AVERAGE start time is ‼️7am‼️ which means that half of our brides start earlier and half later than that. Don’t be surprised if your glam schedule has an early start, and trust our suggestion when that is the best plan of action. 🤍

✨ What’s the BEST that can happen? ✨

I started this business as just me, slowly (and then very quickly) adding artists as the demand grew. I didn’t know a single thing about business ownership: obtaining an LLC, creating a P&L, hiring, marketing, advertising, branding?!? 🤯🫨 But I dove in headfirst because I was determined to create a better life for me and my kids.

Fast forward to 2024, and I’m at the helm of a beauty empire. We’re flying internationally to service celebrity clients, continually winning “best of” awards, starting new ventures, and educating artists worldwide. Doors are opening left and right, and I can’t bring myself to say “no” to any of them.

But it all started to feel like it was crashing—not on the outside, but in my head.

My anxiety, imposter syndrome, and that relentless feeling of never being or doing enough crept in. It felt like I was on top of a mountain made of cards, teetering on the edge of collapse. Maybe it was all in my head. Maybe I let the criticism get to me. Or maybe—just maybe—it was time to reroute.

I started envisioning a smaller, more intentional team—not because it felt like a step back, but because it felt like the right step forward. It meant crafting deeper, more meaningful connections and curating truly luxurious experiences for our clients that no other like company compares to. It meant focusing our energy on fewer projects, but with much greater impact. From that vision, the idea of “invite-only” was born.

I chose purpose over pressure, and passion over expansion.

I’m not sure what 2025 will bring, but instead of fearing what might go wrong, I’m choosing to embrace everything that could go beautifully right.

If only you knew what NATURAL makeup was - you’d never ask a makeup artist for it again.

Because here is what it’s NOT:

🤍 flawless complexion
🤍 naturally perfect brows
🤍 a sun kissed glow
🤍 symmetrical flushed lips
🤍 anything you see on Pinterest.

NATURAL makeup is a couple dots of concealer to make your dark circles/blemishes less visible (not gone), brushed brows without definition, enhanced redness where it naturally occurs (the natural color of the skin isn’t fully canceled out so we can’t change blush placement), a sheen added to the lips.

Now what most of you mean when you say “natural” makeup is NEUTRAL shades used, like you see in this video. Our client’s complexion is still perfectly evened out, her features defined (but not changed), all in colors that are still low contrast and neutral to her complexion.

This makeup look is called The Megan, and hair is The Rachel. Don’t forget to mention these when requesting a similar style!

Starting January 1st 2025 Glam Atelier will be INVITE-ONLY!

🤍 What does that mean?
Means we will be extremely selective with the clients we chose to work with. We are limiting our books from 350 to only 150 wedding bookings each year. Each bridal inquiry will undergo a selection process in which we will decide whether we’re a good fit or not.

🤍 Why the change?
In our pursuit of excellence we have made changes to the administrative team, restructured our Team Artists into a smaller Elite Team, and fully committed to servicing only an exclusive number of high-end clients.

🤍 What does this mean for existing clients?
Our loyal GA clients will be grandfathered in. Any brides interested in working with us should strongly consider inquiring NOW before the big change, or at least getting a special occasion appointment on our books to enter the system.

🤍 How can I get in after the transition?
If you’re not an existing client you will be invited to a zoom call where we dig deep into your bridal visions and dreams. Currently only about 40% of inquiries are sent a proposal and that number will be closer to 20% after going invite-only. We work with a select few planners, so please check with yours if they are on our referral list to increase your chances.

They visit all their loved ones who’ve passed at cemeteries. Which meant that I spent every single birthday growing up going cemetery to cemetery, and none of my friends would make it to my parties cause they were doing the same. 🙈🪦 Name something spookier than that! 💀

My gorgeous bride from last weekend is the perfect example of WHY previews are necessary.

Hannah took it a step further and had her makeup done numerous times, experimented with different looks and narrowed down exactly which elements she enjoyed adding a little drama to, as well as her color preferences.

During her preview we went with a soft bronze look (we even removed the soft wing I created as it was outside her comfort zone at the time!) By her Wedding Day she was super well versed in Glam and able to explain exactly what changes she wanted made - we amped her look WAY UP! 😍

This was such a fun experience. I love when clients immerse themselves in the world of beauty and embrace the possibilities glam can bring them. 🥰
